Twelve highly desirable men, all from different backgrounds, are engaged by well-heeled female clients to read Dream of the Red Chamber to them. Gathered in this peculiar book club, the twelve discover that the female characters’ emotional turmoil—the passion, beauty, pain, agony, wisdom and forgiveness—could actually be their own. Secret desires are revealed, but the line between truth and fiction is blurred. Will the public masks they wear cause them to forget their true selves?
